The sky burned a dark red and i choked on my sorrow as i held on to myself. I never thought id be dying alone surrounded by empty seats where my friends should be. This ending was so sad I was happy it was just a game as i logged out of the server.

As i turned to the kitchen where amethyst sat drinking a bowl of gravy, one of her tamer snacks, I smiled looking at her. Even after 3000 years i had not grown tired of her face and stature and when we fused it was like fusing with garnet. Every crystal gem knows how strong they feel when fusing with garnet, she embodies one of the rarest emotions on home world, but with amethyst it was more personal. Fusing with garnet felt like being the third wheel but not with amethyst. Together, its just us, and I feel her love for me as she feels mine for her. Seriously, its so euphoric that I can see why garnet never splits. As much as I appreciate my alone time, when amethyst runs to me on all fours and does her tickling and her tackling and laughing and in the midst of all the joy we become us again, i never regret it, not for a second. We are an experience and how lovely that we never have to end.
