I want to haunt a man like a dead wife. I want to be the fuel that drives a man to live, to hate, and to make a change in the world. I want my memory to be a source of everlasting love no matter how long its been. Year after year id like to be long gone and still hearing his voice, talking to me as if im still there.
I want him to look at my trinkets that he could never bring himself to throw away, to ignore the boxes stacked tall of all my clothes and jewlery, and I want him to smile at everything I was. Then, I want him to cry for me, for everything that we were, as proof that it meant something.
What im trying to say is I want to be remembered, I want to matter for as long as possible until I am replaced. I want to be grieved, for all my failures and successes, for all my regrets and bad decisions; I want to be human in the memories of others. And until I take my last breath, id like to be loved like a human too. To the point of creation, to the point of advancement, I want to haunt the narrative while I am still breathing. That is to say, I wanna be loved like I am dead.
